DAY TRIP TO NGAMBA ISLAND CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the shores of Lake Victoria to meet your 9.00am or 12:45 launch. The boat trip will take about 45 minutes across to Ngamba Island, crossing the equator en-route. On arrival at the island, home to 39 chimpanzees, you will be given a short introduction and briefing on the sanctuary. You will return to the mainland for lunch before going on to the Entebbe Wildlife Education Centre where some of the country’s ecological zones have been replicated to foster different types of animals. You will return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

• The above price includes; a return transfer from Kampala, boat rides from Entebbe Pier (min 4 pax on a speed boat; 10 pax on a motorized canoe), and entrance to UWEC. The price excludes lunch and other items.
