Queen Elizabeth National Park (3 days, 2 nights)

QENP is found in the arm of East African Rift Valley, covers 1,978 Sqkm with over 500 recorded bird species.
 Trip highlights: Stop at the Equator, Game drive, Boat trip /Cruise ship along the kazinga channel and a Forest walk or Chimpanzee trekking.

Day1
Meet and greet in Kampala at 0800hrs. Drive west with a stop at the equator for a photographic moment and a cup of coffee. This drive takes approximately 5-6 hours. We will then head through the volcanic formation of the western rift valley towards Queen Elizabeth. This is a host to large variety and volume of wildlife. In the afternoon we shall arrive in the park as we have a slow drive into the park you will be able to see numerous animals hopefully , then your guide will transfer you to your hostel in the park. Tonight you will sleep, in Mweya safari lodge / Jacana safari lodge / Albertine safari camp .Meal plan F/B
                       
Day2
In the morning we will drive along to the kasenyi area of the park where lions are frequently spotted. You will be able to see numerous animals like the leopards, elephants as well as water hogs, lions, hyena, Uganda kob, waterbuck as well as the salt lakes.
           
This afternoon you will have a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, returning to the camp early evening. The boat trip will allow you to experience wildlife up close where hippos huff and spray mere feet away, buffalo linger in the shallows and a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the river’s edge. Amongst those you will see are the malachite and pied kingfishers, great white and pink-backed pelicans and the open-billed stork. Tonight you will sleep, in Mweya safari lodge / Jacana safari lodge / Albertine safari camp .Meal plan F/B

Day 3
Early morning departure to either chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge or a walk to Maramagambo forest, visitors can climb through tropical forest; you will visit the Bat caves and the Blue Lake and later drive back to Kampala. You will have lunch on the way some where in Mbarara. Arriving in the afternoon and on arrival, your guide will take you to your hotel in Kampala
