GOLFING IN UGANDA

GOLFING PACKAGE (15 Days /14 Nights)

Day 1: After your early morning Breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe Golf club which is the oldest in Uganda and it has 18 holes. You will play golf, after the game you will visit Ngamba Islands which is home of habituated chimpanzees. These chimpanzees are interesting to watch, you will have your lunch at the Ngamba Island as you enjoy the beautiful scenery that comes with the Chimpanzee sanctuary. You will return to Entebbe town late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel / Entebbe flight motel F/B

Day 2: After a cup of coffee, drive to the major Golf club of Kampala with 18 holes. This Golf club is situated in the capital city of Uganda. You will play Golf and after the game you will visit the Kasubi Tombs a heritage site for the Buganda. The tombs are a historical burial site for the dead kings of Buganda and you will learn much about the Buganda kingship and their cultural norms. You will visit the Bahai temple which is a worshiping centre that recognizes all the religions of the world, it’s a magnificently built temple as it stand out so tall with a lot of luxurious artistic works inside it. Lastly, in the afternoon, you will visit the Kiwatule recreation centre where you will relax this afternoon by swimming. Day3: Jinja golf club, Jinja which is the second largest town in Uganda is characterized by Asian quarters, the brewery industries and many colorful gardens. You will visit the source of the river Nile for a photographic moment and you can take boat which last 3 hours or go for a half day wild white water rafting. In the afternoon you will visit the renowned Bujagali Falls. There is so much to enjoy at the Bujagali, you can watch the acrobats, the falls darers while the take dives by the falls waters and see lots o0f crafts works. Dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort / Hotel Triangle F/B

Day 4: After a morning breakfast at your Hotel, You will be driven to the Western Uganda area to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have a short stop at the Equator for a morning cup of coffee or tea, as well as an informative talk and a photographic moment which is a must if you happen to bring your camera with you for this trip. Lake Mburo is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates (cloven hoofed animals). More than 310 bird species have been recorded in the park. It is probably the best place in Uganda to see acacia-associated birds – mosque swallows black-bellied bustard, bare-faced go-away bird and Ruppell’s long-tailed sterling. You will sleep in the Mihingo Lodge as the high end/up market option or Rwonyo Rest camp for the budget option. This is situated in Lake Mburo National Park on a small hill overlooking Lake Mburo and one of the game corridors leading to the lake. You will have lunch at your hotel in Lake Mburo and after that you will take a boat which is a chance for you to see so many bird species. Dinner and overnight at the Mihingo Lodge /Rwonyo Rest Camp F/B


Day 5: An early start will give you a chance to take guided walk which will lead you to the Salt Lick Area. A strategically located wooden platform offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick the salty soil. You will return to your hotel for lunch and after lunch you will relax at your hotel as this will be the last day that you will spend in Lake Mburo National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge / Rwonyo Rest Camp

Day 6: Depart from Mbarara and drive far west to Kabale Golf course. The ground is located in the green belt which is commonly refereed to as the Switerzerland of Africa. After the golf game you will enter Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the home of the remaining mountain Gorillas. You will sleep in Bwindi prior to tracking the gorillas. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma community F/B

Day 7: Wake up so early for morning breakfast and there after report to the ranger’s stations for gorilla tracking. It’s a 4-5 hours time of interacting with these wonderful animals. After gorilla tracking you will return to the resort for lunch and rest at the resort or you will take a Buhoma village walk which is optional.

Day 8: After a cup of coffee, drive to Kasese golf club. This course is located with in Queen Elizabeth National park next to Mweya Safari Lodge/ Jacana safari Lodge / Albertine rift camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: After playing, visitors may go for a game drive where various animals like the elephant, lions, buffaloes and the kob may be viewed, after lunch, you may go for a boat launch on the Kazinga channel which gives a beautiful platform for bird watchers. Dinner and overnight at the Mweya Safari Lodge/ Jacana Safari Lodge /Albertine Rift camp F/B

Day 10: Drive to Golf club. After golfing, you may visit the Tororo Cement factory, a visit to Nyero Rock and there after drive to Fort portal town for dinner and over night at the Ndali lodge / Mountains of the Moon Hotel F/B

Day 11: After an early Morning Breakfast, in Fort portal while viewing the crater lakes and various food plantations. Visit the legendary Mabere ga Nyina Mwiru and the Toro Kings Palace and there
This is a place where visitors can enjoy chimpanzee tracking so you will track the famous chimpanzees in the afternoon. Dinner and over night at the Ndali lodge / Mountains of the Moon Hotel F/B

Day 12: After cup of coffee and golfing, we will drive to Murchison Falls National park. We will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Nakitoma and after this visit we will proceed to the Murchison Falls National, in Murchison falls you will be able to view the top of the falls and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and over night in Paara Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge / Redchilli Rest Camp F/B

Day 13: After an early morning breakfast, we shall go on a game drive where various wildlife may be seen and afterwards return to the lodge for lunch and there after go for a boat trip on the Nile delta, it’s a wonderful activity and a very good opportunity to bird watchers as so many birds will be sighted while on the 3 hours launch cruise. Dinner and overnight at the Paara safari lodge /Redchilli Rest Camp F/B

Day14: Wake up to a golfing game and there after a cup of coffee for your breakfast. We will proceed to Kampala with a parked lunch that you will have on the way. Your safari guide will drop you off at a hotel in Kampala for your last night. Dinner and overnight at the Sheraton hotel / Namirembe Guest house B/B

Day 15: Wake up to an early break fast at your hotel or guest house and there after our guide will drop you at the Entebbe international airport for your outbound flight back home
